People go abroad to wonder at the heights of mountains, at the huge waves of the sea, at the long courses of the rivers, at the vast compass of the ocean, at the circular motions of the stars, and they pass by themselves without wondering. ~~St. Augustine
A new, historically significant level of consciousness and culture is emerging during our time, and the emergence of this new integral worldview is in many ways the evolutionary equivalent of the emergence of the modernist worldview during the Enlightenment of the 17th and 18th centuries. Just as the rise of modernism changed the world forever, we can expect similar progress from the rise of Integralism. Integral consciousness, non-linear thinking is the new perspective that expands our perception of reality and provides fresh motivation to make evolutionary growth and transformation. This new way of seeing and living arises from an enlarged set of values framed by our comprehensive understanding of cultural development.
Within our postmodern culture as a whole there is a deep yearning for some kind of large-scale awakening. Yet many of those who call for such a great awakening linearly envision it as a kind of miraculous revolution, a crises-induced change of heart that will bring us all together through a new vision of our essential unity within the greater earth community. While it is realistic to recognize that some kind of significant transcendence is required, it is unrealistic to assume that a revolutionary change would produce the kind of sustainable advance that our society requires.
To be sustainable, the transformation we seek must come about as a result of evolution, not revolution. The cultural evolution that we need must come to us in the form of a new worldview forged through the interpenetration of our increased problems and our newly perceived opportunities.
The reality behind understanding the integral worldview offers a new values-based worldview initiated and sustained by recognizing evolution is based on fractals in Nature. Understanding the fractals within the integral worldview represents a transcendence of modernism. Fractals demonstrate the legitimacy and evolutionary necessity of all previous stages of development. Integral consciousness appreciates the subtle habits and gentle persuasion of evolution, the way it grows from within itself always building on what came before.
The philosophy of integralism, the reality of fractals is not about a particular religion, cult formation, or dependent on social, cultural, or racial monikers. This philosophy depends on involvement. “Tell me and I will forget. Show me and I may remember. Involve me and I will understand.” ~~Lao-Tzu
WHAT DOES ANY OF THIS HAVE TO DO WITH YOU?
Everyone is an ocean inside; every individual walking the street. Everyone is a universe of thoughts, and insights, and feelings. But every person is crippled in his or her own way by our inability to truly present ourselves to the world. ~~Khaled Hosseini
Do you feel you are living your life authentically? Are you comfortable presenting yourself to the world or have you developed your own version of Impostor Syndrome in order to make it in today’s highly fractured world?
Do you believe you have successfully integrated all of your life experiences into what you’re doing and who you are in the world; or do you find you get stuck on some random seemingly chaotic point in your personal development that keeps you triggered even though you practice mindful meditation, try to only do unto others what you’d have them do to you, and believe in equality and justice for all? Are you just not as happy as you’d thought you would be by this point in your life? Do you need a new values-based worldview, a way to see the life you’re living from a more integrated point of view?
There’s nothing wrong with enjoying looking at the surface of the ocean itself, except that when you finally see what goes on underwater, you realize that you’ve been missing the whole point of the ocean. Staying on the surface all the time is like going to the circus and staring at the outside of the tent. ~~Dave Barry
Most people have no idea how responsible they are for their own personal reality, no thorough understanding of how they create-maintain-destroy their own pain and suffering while feigning joy and happiness. Who are you, really? Do you truly know you? We don’t mean what’s your name, what do you do for a living, are you successful? We want to know if you know who you are to your core, layer by layer; and, are you living the Life you came to live?
I can help with that. I understand and can teach you how reality works and how you can better create-maintain-destroy the reality you want without the chaotic traumatizing hooks you’ve grown to accept as your fate.
We ourselves feel that what we are doing is just a drop in the ocean. But the ocean would be less because of that missing drop. ~~Mother Teresa
I’m on a mission to do my part in the evolution of humanity by helping folks know they are more than a drop in the Ocean! I want to teach those who are aware of their personal web of chaos how to shift their perspective to see beyond the isolated fractals they think of as “their life,” to being in awe of the unique Mandelbrot Set that is their Life, of which they are blind.
You are undeniably a part of the Postmodern Culture. Instead of a revolution, though society keeps screaming for such entanglements, I want to get you involved. I invite you to consciously become a part of the in-process cultural evolution by exploring this new integral worldview which has been forged through the interpenetration of our increased world problems and our newly perceived opportunities.
I invite you to read the Mission Page to better understand my mission and how it can benefit you. The Services Page can help you determine which format would work best for you, the employees at your corporation or department, your social club or neighborhood community, church or personal network. Or you may decide you would do best by setting up 1:1 sessions for yourself. Isn’t it time you got accurately involved with your own personal evolution?
